Hasta La Victoria Siempre pt.2 - The War

"Hasta la victoria siempre"
This is what is written on Ernesto "Commantande" Che Guevara's mausolioum.

The revolution which took place back in 1959 in Cuba. Fidel Castro and Che Guevara wanted equility, same chances for everyone, food for all the people. Just a few men started this revolution, filled up with idealism.

But which is the truth? Did they managed to bring all those things they wanted to people, or was it just another war? Another try, so the power just change hands...
Who can tell? People of Cuba do know? What do they believe?

History can't change, that's for sure. And the now is what makes the future...

So this is Cuba. For those who still believe in the revolution, and for those who don't...

*Some facts about revolution:
-Before 1959 Cuba was economic colony of the USA.
-Cuban revolutionary Jose Marti, who had travelled in the USA, wrote of the occupiers: 'I have lived inside the monster and I know its entrails...Shall we bring the country dear to our hearts, virgin and fruitful, to this frenzied pack of rich against poor,...white against black.... Shall we deliver it into this oven of wrath, into these sharp-toothed jaws, into this smoking crater?'
-At the time of the Revolution, the largely rural population had an average annual income per person of $91.25 - an eight of that of Mississippi, the poorest state in the USA. Only 11% of Cuba drank milk, 4% ate meat, 2-3% had running water, and 9.1% had electricity. 36% had intestinal parasites, 14% had tuberculosis, and 43% were illiterate. That was the reason that lead to the revolution.
-20,000 people had been killed in the liberation war.
